Often when we are young, someone tries to give us the gift of faith. Very often these are awkward exchanges of Bibles, or words about Jesus, or pressure to be baptized. Very often we feel awkward or guilty for not appreciating the gift more. However, later in life that gift can save your life, if you have eyes to see. In this message we explore of the journey of giving and recieving the gift of Faith.
We look to God to bring us from safety to danger. But there are times when Christ calls us back into the dangerous place. In this message we explore how an why God does this by looking a various stories (fictional, real, and biblical) of people who left comfort and stability to face the Holy Danger.
In this message we explore one of the Bible's hardest teachings, that Christians MUST be willing to suffer for Christ. As we begin our study of Paul's letter to Timothy we learn why this is true, but we also receive good news...God will give us what we need to endure when the time of suffering comes!
