This teaching is a diagrammed construct. The pathway (arc) of the Christian journey begins with a foundation of the church and tradition, which gave us the canon (Bible) and then moves us through our selves – the inward journey – and onward toward loving others, and unity with God through Jesus. The end is the “teleios” – Colossians 1:28 – “mature in Christ” or complete, or perfect.
