The Bible gives us a way to pray during difficult times. This prayer is lament. Jeremiah writes his Lament at the worst time in Israel's history. Job and Jonah are examples of Lament. During Jesus' time the Jews were oppressed and lamented to God. Around one third of the one hundred and fifty Psalms are laments. How do we lament during this pandemic? Let's explore the Bible's unique example of lament prayer, to a personal unique God, our God.

Times are changing rapidly as the COVID-19 VIRUS grows in intensity and the whole world bands together to defeat it. This week we turn to a message from the Gospel of Mark in which Jesus predicted difficult times ahead for his followers, but also gave them a word of encouragement and mission. This is not the end! Let us study the word together, worship, and hear ways we can continue to be a church family. Let us receive comfort and direction from our Lord Jesus.
